  • Registration for ILDA's LSO-Lasershows class, for current (dues paid this year) ILDA Members.
  • Registration for ILDA's LSO-Lasershows class, for persons who are NOT current (this year) ILDA Members.
  • This is for persons who want to sit in on the class, who previously passed the ILDA LSO class. A list of qualified persons is here: http://www.ilda.com/LSOgraduates.html

This is to register for ILDA's Laser Safety Officer class, starting Wed August 8 and continuing Thu 9 at SELEM (South Eastern Laser Enthusiasts' Meeting). The course will start each day at 9 am in the Newton-Conover Auditorium upstairs classroom, and will end at 1 pm.

The course covers U.S. laser lightshows only -- no medical, industrial or other non-lightshow laser usage. The instructor is Patrick Murphy, ILDA Executive Director and an instructor for ILDA LSO classes. More information on the class content is here.

Note that persons who have previously taken this class and successfully passed may register and attend for free (e.g. a refresher course). Refresher students may take the test if they wish, but there will be no new LSO certificate issued unless full price is paid.
