Online LSO-Lasershows course retake - February 20 2019

  • This is for persons who did not pass test given at the end of an ILDA Laser Safety Officer course. They can retake the course and the test, and hopefully pass the second time. There is no charge for retaking the class if done within one year of taking the original class.

This is for persons who did not pass a previous ILDA Laser Safety Officer (LSO) - Lasershows course, and who want to retake the course and retake the test. There is no charge for this as long as the retaking is done within one year of taking the original course.

The date is Wednesday February 20 2019, currently scheduled to start at 3 pm New York time and ending approximately 10 pm.

The first part of the course is about 5 hours of online instruction using Cisco Webex. Then, there is a test at the end which takes up to 2 hours for students to complete the course (still staying online during the test, so up to 7 hours total depending). There will be breaks during the course, just as the live in-person course has breaks every 1.5-2 hours.

ILDA will email to each person the Cisco Webex log-in instructions a few days before the course starts.
